6 Platoon were to consolidate with the North Shore Regiment Lieutenant Ashman and recce party went forward with the North Shore, however the North Shore met heavily resistance and the recce party returned until 1700 hrs when the Platoon was called forward. Due to enemy shelling the Platoon returned after dark. 7 Platoon remained unchanged and they came under enemy shelling during the day. 8 Platoon took up a position at 192083 (Savooyaardsweg/ Spanjaardsweg near camping Buijsse, Netherlands) and assisted the Le Regiment De La Chaudiere forward.
